Yaowen holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering and specialises in low-carbon, high-performance cementitious materials. As a Concrete Technology Specialist and Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP) Associate, she works with Concretene, in collaboration with the University of Manchester, to develop and validate nanomaterials-enhanced concrete solutions. Her work bridges academic research and industrial application, helping us to better understand the fundamental interactions of graphene and cement and tune formulations for specific customer need.
